Parallel smooth curved edges label overlap

I saw the issues about the overlapping multiple edges between the same 2 nodes, but the edge labels at that case are still overlapping even when the smooth curves option is on.

Is there any chance you can fix it by positioning the labels in the middle of the edges instead of the 2 nodes halfway?
